A Legacy of
Performance
The Commander line traces its heritage to some of the most famous designs in aviation history. The original Commander 115 was designed by the famed Rockwell engineering team, responsible for creating the P-51 Mustang, F-86 Sabre, and F-100 Super Sabre fighters, the Sabreliner business jet, and the B-1 bomber.
The aircraft's laminar flow wing and single slotted flaps provide a wide range of low drag/high lift configurations for excellent cruise performance and range, combined with superior short field takeoff and landing capability. It is rock solid in flight; yet highly responsive, with a wide c.g. range for loading flexibility.
The Commanders made by
Commander Aircraft Company featured more than
two-thousand engineering/design changes compared to
the original design, with significant improvements
in aerodynamics, power plant, systems, and interior
appointments. CPAC will continue the tradition of
refining and updating Commander aircraft with many
new convenience, trim, equipment and other features.
The specific information about Commander aircraft
